She smiled, he laughed - West Montrose Wedding Photographer

She beamed as she approached him.  He stood, waiting for his future bride.  His gorgeous, wonderful bride.  They had been planning this day for a long time, but this moment is the one they will remember.  As she grabbed his arm, he turned and saw his bride for this first time that day.  They hugged, and kissed and he cried - for she was the most beautiful girl in the world!

It was a day that couldn't have gone better.  Full of wonderful moments, joyful experiences and friends and family to enjoy it with.  Their day was bright, fun and completely Natasha and Brad - down to the simple white cake and the bright summer colours!

Natasha and Brad, It was an honour to document your day.  Thank you for inviting us to be a part of it.  I really loved everything that was your wedding - natural, beautiful and who could beat the location?  It was a perfect, wonderful day.  Thank you!  Please enjoy a few of my favourite images from your day.

West Montrose Photographer: Winter Wonderland

When Natasha, Brad, and I first met - it was like love at first sight!  Their wedding sounded incredible, fun and exactly my style.  I do a select number of weddings each year, and theirs is at the top of my list.  When I suggested "winter wonderland" photos for their engagement session, they jumped at it.  In fact, I think it was actually their idea!

So when the fluffy white stuff started to fall on Sunday, we went for it.  We frolicked, we threw snowballs, but mostly, we had fun!  Lots and lots of fun.

Natasha and Brad, It was a pleasure to photograph the two of you.  I had a great time and I can't wait to continue the fun this summer!  Please enjoy a few of my faves!

Waterloo Maternity Photographer: Nicole

I was totally amazed by Nicole from the first time we spoke on the phone.  She's strong, kind and just plain lovely...and yes that all came across in a single phone call.  It was a pleasure to photograph her as she steps into the next stage of her life: motherhood.

We had planned to meet at her home and shoot indoors, but since it was such a lovely day, plans changed and we managed to get some amazing shots at a nearby wooded area.  It was awesome!  I love when my clients understand my style and are willing to be flexible, depending on mother nature.

Nicole, it was great to finally meet you and so lovely chatting with you as we strolled (or power-walked) our way through the trails.  Thanks for the lovely conversation.  Please enjoy a few of my favourites from our session.  Hope you love them.

Waterloo Wedding Photography. Matt & Leslie

Leslie stood, laughing while she waited for her turn to walk down the aisle.  Today was her very favourite, most wonderful day ever.  Today she married her best friend.  Today she met him at the end of the aisle.  Today she chose to spend the rest of her life with her match.  Matthew and Leslie are a perfect match.  Like two covers of a book, they meet with a volume of stories in between, forever linking them together.

Their wedding took place on a dreary Saturday afternoon five years to the day from when they first met.  This is why today is Leslie's favourite day.

Matthew and Leslie, your wedding was gorgeous and classy and wonderful to be a part of.  I was so happy to photograph my two friends as they added another chapter to their lives.  Enjoy New York.  Can't wait to hear all about it.

Elmira Wedding Photography, Neill and Marion get hitched

"Wow", he said quietly as he turned to see his bride.  He couldn't take his eyes off her or the smile from his lips.  It's how he looked all day - eyes on his bride, smile on his face.  And Marion was floating -Loving her day, her gown, her groom.  Loving it all.

Their day was amazing - beautiful weather, wonderful friends and family, and an amazing setting at Station Creek Golf Club. We rode around in golf carts, stopping for golfers and for a couple shots on the green.

Marion and Neill, it was a pleasure to work with you.  Your wedding was romantic, lovely, fun and wonderful.  Thank you for inviting Joe and I to be a part of it.  Please enjoy a few of my favourites.

Congratulations Carol and Jeff - A Foxoboro Green Wedding

"Happiness is marrying your best friend." ~ unknown

Their guests slowly headed down the aisle with a rock in their hands to greet Carol and Jeff.  As they passed their stones onto the bride and groom, they shared a story to go with it:  a history about the rock, or themselves or a future for the happy couple.  Some guests gave words of encouragement, some advice, but all had lovely and creative thoughts for Carol and Jeff's future.  One guest who picked up his rock along the shores of Lake Superior told the bride and groom to always feel superior together, yet never feel superior to one another.

Jeff and Carol, thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your day.  Your ceremony and reception were amazing and despite the threat of rain and thunderstorms, it couldn't have been a better day! I want to wish you an amazing future together!  Please enjoy a few of my favourites from your big day!
