My mission is to get you excited about your family portraits, about the moments I capture of your gorgeous children and the beauty of your pregnant body. Full of Joy - full of beans

I recently took an online course on children's photography.  It was 3 days with one of the most celebrated children's photographers - Tamara Lackey (tamaralackey.com).  The course was presented through Creative Live (http://creativelive.com).  An innovative, amazing company dedicated to "...work with the very best instructors who want to share their knowledge and creative expertise with the world."  So naturally I was excited and since I'd been shooting a ton of family and children's portraits - really interested to learn.

It was, in fact, the 3rd day of the course that I had already booked a photo session with a young family.  I was itching to try out some of the new things I had learned.  Wesley was a typical 1 year old, a little shy of someone new, but energetic and fun.  And really only interested in the toys.  I used a lot of the information that I had learned over the weekend and here are a few of my favourites.
